I suppose today is as good as any to bring my informal hiatus to an end. There was never any conscious decision to stop posting for any length of time, it was just never a priority when work started to take up a lot of my time and my health issues made it necessary to use my free time to just chill and get as much rest as possible. I should probably be sleeping now, but I have a lot on my mind and can't get to sleep.
A quick recap of my day: I left my cell phone (the case that holds it has my ID, my debit card, and my credit card in it as well) on the roof of my mom's car in a busy Seattle neighborhood, and when I realized it thirty-five minutes later it was miraculously still there; I got to see pictures of all the holes in my brain, including the one that makes my left pupil larger than the right; I was taught how to administer the disease-modifying drug that I will have to inject every day for the rest of my life; For the first time ever (that I can recall, anyway) my step-mom introduced me as her daughter; Next month I will be driving to Utah with my 16-year-old sister as she, my step-mom, and my 10-year-old sister uproot their lives and leave the only city they've ever called home to live in Salt Lake City with my dad.
Okay, maybe that wasn't so quick. I was going to do a recap of the last two months, but I think I should probably wait. I'll try tomorrow, but tomorrow might become next week or next month, so no promises.
