Let's see. The driving is progressing. I drove in my car for a couple of hours on Saturday and managed to only kill it three times (maybe four. I can't remember.) With lots of practice between now and then, I think my goal of being a licensed driver by this time next month is feasible.
I finally had my checker interview at work, and at the end of it was told that since the store is slowing down for the winter hours are being cut and they don't really need another checker right now. I can't help feeling a little disgruntled, because I feel like if they had interviewed me when I applied for the job a month and a half ago, maybe it would have happened.
My MS symptoms are proving to be more manageable than I had thought they would be. The tingling has gotten worse, but it hasn't changed into anything else. And really, how bad is it to have your arm and leg tingling all the time? I think I've actually gotten used to it.
And on a final note, my friend/co-worker/neighbor Linda regaled me with a story the other day, a story of her sister's boyfriend who has both a mullet and a rat tail. How horrifying is that?
