Since we had the title transferred a couple weeks ago, I've been doting on my car. I have spent two or three afternoons cleaning it and detailing it and vacuuming the carpet. Mostly it was just an excuse to sit in it and enjoy my car.
In addition to scrubbing it like a meth addict, I've been purchasing items to help make it feel more like mine. I shelled out $65 last week for new seat covers and floor mats, and have spent $2 or $3 here and there for little things like air fresheners and a little crystal star to hang on the rearview mirror. Right now I'm on eBay bidding on a new battery, car charger, hands-free set, and dashboard cell-phone holder so I can be mobile in more way than one, and not be a danger to myself while I'm on the road.
