Okay, so more details and photos from the wedding last weekend.

I got all dressed up because, 1) I like having a good excuse to go all out, and 2) it was a wedding and I didn't want to look like a slob.

All prettied up.

I had called S for a ride to the reception hall, and he showed up in half a car.

Not the car I imagined riding in when I pinned my hair up.

Luckily, it was not windy enough to destroy my 'do.

There was a lot of preparing to do when I got there, as the bar was not designed for both beer and liquor, and I had limited space. I managed to make it work. After I lifted the screen on the drip tray for the beer, and discovered a lovely treat.

I'm so thankful that someone else took care of all that mold for me.

Those are all the details I can think of that weren't already included in the first post.

I'm going to see Kevin in a couple weeks, and I did a little preparation today. I went to Planned Parenthood since I haven't been on birth control for a month, and I bought an electric shaver so I could shave my legs. Kevin's been a pretty good sport about my not shaving for the last six months, so I figure he deserves a little treat. Plus, it's summer, and I want to be able to wear skin-baring outfits without looking like a hippie. I'm going to try and pick up this sexy lingerie before I head up there on the 7th.

My birthday is Monday, and I got my gift from Danielle in the mail today. She sent an awesome silver leather handbag filled with goodies like lilac perfume oil and shimmery gold mousse for my hair. And Sour Cherry Altoids Chewing Gum which is the devil. The devil, I say! I also got a card and $20 from my dad, whose job has him in El Paso, Texas right now. He sent me a video email the other day wishing me happy birthday, so I was expecting the card.

I'm not sure there's really anything else to talk about. I've been taking lots of pictures with my new camera, and being lazy about posting them in my photo blog. I'm going out tonight to a going-away party for a coworker and her husband, who was a friend of mine when I was a teenager, so maybe after I get back I will have more stories to share.
