No More Ponytails

For awhile I've been bored with how I look. When I was diagnosed with MS last year and lost my job, I didn't have the money to maintain any kind of 'look', and after being broke for too long I just lost the drive to keep myself looking nice. I would only wear makeup if I was going out somewhere, and not to the grocery store. Now that I have another job, things are a little better, but unlike when I was working as a cocktail waitress in a casino, how attractive I am no longer determines how much money I make. I keep my uniform clean, put on a little mascara, and that's good enough.

Back to being bored with how I look. It's time for a change. Normally in this sort of situation, I dye my hair pink, or get a tattoo. The new job will not allow me to have any hair color outside of the 'natural' spectrum, and I can't think of anything that I really want to have tattooed on me right now. This leaves me with either a massive wardrobe change, or change of hairstyle. I pretty much live in my sweats when I'm not at work, so hairstyle it is.

After talking it over with Kevin I decided to revisit a haircut that I had about three years ago.

My appointment is in about twelve hours, and it's funny how I'm a little bit nervous. I've had short hair before, but for some reason I'm worried that the photos I patched together will not be enough to accurately copy the style, and I will end up with the impossibly butch style I moved onto right after that first cute short haircut. I'm just being paranoid.

I know that the boys that read this really don't care what I do with my hair, but for you girls, I will be sure to put up plenty of pictures when all is said and done.
